Hajrah Kamran
Hajrah is a final year student of Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences Honours at Charles Darwin University (CDU). Hajrah has recently completed Bachelor of Islamic Studies from Charles Sturt University and a Diploma of Mental health. Hajrah is the Youth coordinator and Islamic studies teacher at UMNT.
Currently, Hajrah serves as the president of CDU Women’s Collective for Innovation and Change, vice-president at TWO TWO ONE Mental Health Charity and a part of the CDU VaLue Program and Mentoring Program. She was the secretary of the NT Youth Round Table 2022. She is also an advocate for youth mental health and has been conducting community events surrounding youth leadership, confidence, substance use and boosting self-esteem. Lastly, Hajrah is a part of many leadership and health care organisation across Australia, such as the Alliance of Australian Muslims or the Australian Islamic Medical Association.
