Imam Adama Konda, originally from Burkina Faso, is the Imam at Canberra Islamic Centre and a teacher. He studied in Syria, Madinah, and Malaysia. A former Darwin Imam, he promotes interfaith harmony and youth mentorship.
Flight Lieutenant Imam Chaplain at the Royal Australian Air Force

Imam Abdul Kader is the Royal Australian Air Force’s first Imam chaplain and former Imam of the Darwin Islamic Centre. Originally from Bangladesh, he has served in Egypt, the UK, Malaysia, and Toowoomba, bringing deep interfaith experience to his role supporting ADF personnel and international defence partners.

Fatima Khalil was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, to a Lebanese family. From a young age, she dedicated her life to dawah, passionately serving her community. She has been serving as a Shura member and the Sisterhood Dawah Department Coordinator at the United Muslims of Australia (UMA), the country’s largest dawah organization.
She is also a member of the Australian National Imams Council’s Women’s Advisory Council, Australia’s peak Muslim body.

Imam Mohanad Karmallah, born in Jeddah to a Sudanese family, is an Imam and chaplain at UMNT in the Northern Territory. A Qur’an teacher with multiple Ijazas, he co-founded the Quran Academy and is certified in Clinical Pastoral Education, offering spiritual care, guidance, and religious services to the community.
