Quran Academy offers a structured learning program designed to from the basics up through high-quality Islamic education. We aim to develop well-rounded Muslim men and women, firmly rooted in the Islamic tradition.

The Curriculum
This program has been designed for students from transition to year 10. The academy comprises a comprehensive Quran, Arabic and Islamic studies classes that all begin with essential foundations. There a total of 5 summative assessments per calendar year for all classes. Classes may also have their formative assessments. Please visit the class outline at the start of the year. Quran Academy runs on the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 1PM. Each day is divided as follows:

Day: Saturday Session 2
Allocation: Based on age
Curriculum: Aqidah, Fiqh, Seerah, History, Du’as
Resources: Weekend Learning & Hisnul Muslim
Examination Progression: 5 exams based on textbook chapters and du’as, for feedback not for determining progression.

Day: Saturday/ Sunday Session 1
Allocation: Based on ability. Oral test.
Curriculum: Tilawah, Tajweed, Hifz
Resources: Safar Publications
Examination Progression: Test after completion of each level and recommendation. 5 exams for Hifz. Written exam for tajweed

Allocation: Based on age
Curriculum: Translation of Surahs, Tafsir

Examination Progression: 5 exams, oral for lower classes, written for higher.

All students enrolled in Quran Academy are expected to attend on both Saturday & Sunday.

Parents are expected to purchase books and stationery either from the Qur’an Academy or from stores directly.
Fees for all year levels per semester is $150. Apart from this, parents are requested to donate generously.

No personal technological devices, toys, or play cards are allowed. They can be confiscated if used despite one warning.
Students must make wudhu at home.
Students must bring their own water bottles and snacks.
Respect your teachers. Misbehaviour will be reported to parents.
Do not run around at the premises.
Students are to not go to the toilet unsupervised or without teachers' approval.
Students are to only go to the toilet in break time with teacher’s supervision.
Students must attend exams on the allocated date and times for respective exams.

Do not disturb teachers during class times. Contact Front Desk for all queries.
Do not go to class to collect children. Notify Front Desk if picking up early.
All parents are to leave Qur'an Academy during examinations.
It is the responsibility of the parents to cover the years' worth of curriculum for three subjects if the child misses out on any of the Academy days. Lesson schedule and curriculum is available on the QA website.
Parents to notify of any absence in writing
Students need to maintain 80% attendance monthly
Failure to maintain 80% attendance for 3 months without notification and after 2 warnings can result in removal from the Qur’an academy

No tight fitting clothes
No sleeveless tops or shorts which expose the knees
Girls:
No tight fitting clothes
Must cover entire body except face and hands up to the wrist.
